Pipe naming structure is between two stormwater structures. Two digit alpha prefix refers to basin abbreviation. Three digit numeric suffix refers to unique position with the basin. If the three digit numeric suffix is '000' there is no structure at the end of the pipe. If PIPEID has a three digit alpha prefix ending in 'P' the pipe does not have a structure on either side.CIPPIdentifies if a pipe has been lined. Description: Parcel-level tree canopy dataset prepared for Citywide GIS use. The analysis began with Eocene Environmental Group's 2025 land-cover classification. Areas with potentially missing canopy information due to cloud cover were identified by the Infrastructure Study team using the 2025 National Land Cover Database Tree Canopy Coverage data and comparison with aerial imagery. For identified gaps, USGS LiDAR data were used to create a tree-height mask. The most recent LiDAR available for this gap-filling work was from 2015. The LiDAR-derived information was combined with the original canopy layer and canopy coverage was calculated by parcel. CanopySqFt represents estimated tree canopy area in square feet. CanopyPct represents estimated percent tree canopy coverage for each parcel and is the recommended field for mapping and general GIS use. The original delivered fields canopyv2_s and CanopyV2_P are retained for provenance. Three source records slightly exceeded 100 percent due to minor raster/vector boundary effects; the City publication field CanopyPct is capped at 100 percent. The source parcel dataset used NAD 1983 (2011) StatePlane Virginia South FIPS 4502 US Feet (WKID 6595). During loading to the City's existing Environmental feature dataset, the geometry was projected to that dataset's established NAD 1983 StatePlane Virginia South FIPS 4502 Feet coordinate system (WKID 2284). Because portions of this revised dataset use 2015 LiDAR to fill gaps in the 2025 classification, it should not be interpreted as a uniform 2025 observation of canopy conditions. Eocene's 6,000-point sample analysis remains the basis for the reportable citywide canopy statistics from the Eocene study.

Description: Dataset containing 6,000 sample locations used in Eocene Environmental Group's tree canopy analysis for the City of Charlottesville. The 2025 land-cover classifications are stored in the 2025Pt_PN field. Known classification codes are 1 Bare Soil, 2 Grass/Herbaceous, 3 Impervious Surface, 4 Tree Canopy, 5 Water, and 8 Cloud. Eocene identified the sample-point analysis as the basis for the reportable canopy statistics in the study. The continuous land-cover classification raster is a separate mapping product.
